Hey all,
For those who haven't come across it before I thought give a head's up to the excellent freeware game Oolite.
Its a clone of the Bell and Brabens 1984 classic Elite (which I'm sure all Hardwar addicts are familiar with!) with nice modern graphics but with the option of adding player made add-ons for new ships, dockable stations, sounds, textures, missions etc. etc. There are hundreds of existing mods which give the game a whole new lease of life.
I downloaded the newest release a couple of weeks ago and can't stop playing again. Crazyiness, I first played Elite like 27 years ago.
This is an ingame screen-shot (with some player modded textures and models).

Yes I'm THAT familiar with it from all the older Hardwar veterans here.
