Sadly, the issue has nothing to do with the game, and everything to do with the oversized calculator I have. The video card was not installed properly, so it will not run any videos. I do not know the mnfr, so I can't load the proper driver, and I hesitate to try and downlaod a generic one.
On the bright side, I have it in on my roomies desktop now, so I can start working on Hardwar: Evolution

It's not such a difficult task.
You're trying to run the game on a laptop, but you don't have the integrated graphics installed, and don't know what type it is.
Well, what kind of laptop do you have? Brand? Model? Type them in Bing and look for your laptop specifications. You'll find a page showing you what kind of integrated graphics model you have. Now Bing that result with the word 'drivers' and BINGO! As long as you alo have DX9.0c installed also, you're good to go.

Oh, that it were that simple, however the previous owner had changed the graphics card, so the manufacturer specs no longer apply to this card . I will be content to play it on the desktop. No issues.

The previous owner deserve to be kicked on the balls!!! Everyone has the right to create and use hybrids but never letting them go free.... I feel your pain nighthawk...

It is the life of a used computer. At least I'm taking steps to get my own pc. I'm studying to getmy A+ cert, so I should be able to makea great system!
