So I know somewhere there is a utility that let's you edit the properties of items, such as changing the capacity of cargo pods, etc. I used it as recently as in the last couple of years. For the life of me I can't remember what it was. Anyone else know?

For the life of me I can't remember what it was. Anyone else know? I had forgot what it was called so after a little digging in my Hardwar Archive (As seen on TV! in my Sig!) I found it. OneDrive/Editors <-- Found here or in the editors folder, if you use my archive link. These programs were made by community member(s), I think that plaguemind?, excuse me Ouch, wrote this one.

!!! Sir, you are a hero and a gentlemen. Downloading that archive right now and burning it to an m-disk for future generations. Hey by the way, did you know Hardwar is up on archive.org? archive.org/details/HardwarUSAFull USA ISOs and everything. I wonder if we could add the UIM06 patch and other useful niceties? Pilot, I bet you could turn your file archive into an ISO file, label it as some kind of xpac, and get it added to the archive.org files.

idk, but the French ISO is in the Archive, maybe another version is too? I do have the videos as well, though you need a way to play GDV (?Gremlin Digital Video?) format, if there was a standalone player made it might be in the archive, not too sure of all that is in it any more lol.
To bad UIM6 isn't included in the version changer, U3.5 is quite different from UIM6.

You can't play GDVs with in VLC?
Are you talking about gameplay videos or the little videos built into Hardware? Because if there is an interest I could set up the tools to capture all those videos and preserve them.

I mean natively, I don't think Hardwar could read them in another format, but you can drop the videos in the Hardwar folder at least for UIM6 and tell Hardman that is where they are so that the disk wont be needed to play the game with the videos on. If you have a Nvidia, it's software can record gameplay quite easily or use a screen recorder. My favorite is ShareX, it can take multiple monitor, chosen monitor, region, and application/program screen shots as well record them as gifs or video of a selected section and has options (I never use) to automatically upload them after they are taken.

The one I bought supports VGA as well as HDMI and a few others. I was just thinking - I have a vintage PC and some 4:3 aspect ratio monitors in inventory. I could capture all the videos in a way that'd be about as close to the original experience as possible. I know when I play on my modern 16:9 monitor the videos just appear in a little window, but I seem to recall them being full-screen when I played the game in 1999.

With the right software, you could upscale the videos, they would still be in the same 4:3 ratio though. Upscaling also takes a lot of time and processor usage from what I understand, and I doubt that it would be convertible to .gdv format, unless one of the developers saw this and still had that program.

The patcher should be in my archive, maybe I should back that up too? I mean somewhere else online, I still have it on my physical hardrive(s) though. Still I wouldn't have expected the patcher to be able to do that.
A bit surprised that the enhanced2 source was never released, as far as I know.
