Roughly based on this topic ( hardwar.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=24), I decided to make a version switcher for multiple instances of Hardwar on one system, rather than having to keep replacing the registry entries every time I want to switch. It's rather primitive; a glorified batch file with lots of .reg files. It's also based on lots of hard-coded assumptions also, such as your Hardwar directory being C:\Games\Hardwar and that your installation directories follow the naming scheme of the Hardwar version types (folders called F2.0, U3.00b3, UIM.06 etc...). I originally made it only for myself, so it's rather simple and does just the job. I don't know if it's of any use to anyone else or not, but I'll put it here, and maybe Zedo wants to host it on the forum for others to download. Unfortunately, I don't have time to make anything that is more sophisticated at this point, and I didn't spend an awful lot of time testing it so there is likely to be some errors in this first draft. If it doesn't suit to your needs, then feel free to modify, tweak and customise it or use something else. Enjoy. ... So how do I upload the file to the forum? If I cannot, who do I e-mail it to, for them to upload?

Sounds neat. Upload it or email it to me and I'll try it out and put it on the site.

OK, so I've tried looking for this "upload button" in both FireFox 4 and Opera 10, and I can't see it. So, I'm e-mailing it to Captain Zedo. Don't expect anything too flashy, it's a batch script so no interface here guys. Like I said, I just made something quick and dirty that did the job. Hopefully in the future, I'll have more time to make something a bit better (VB6/.net or C# based).

HAHAHA! ;D Classic! Nice one, Ouch! Awesome graphics by the way, old skool!! Love the little Men at War with bow and arrows. As I figured, in Opera 10 and Firefox 4, I don't see this Attachment field. Here is a screeny of my topic (like the irony here?)

That's a problem with beta software. I used to use beta stuff all the time, but got tired of fighting it. I use FireFox 3.8 and it works great. By the way, the browsing feature is a big security hole and I imagine that's why it's not working in IE.
I've had to give up on Opera. It's impossible to keep modern Java plugged into it, it has problems with Flash, and just about every other modern web convention.

Here's a copy of HardVer by janksjaer. He kindly emailed it to me. I'll have it up on the site this week sometime. Note that you cannot upload executables: .exe files. Attachments:
