I'm keeping this thread open from the other board because I have a great interest in the A.I.M. game and hope that they make a third one. I found it fun to play and very interesting. Unfortunately, the main sight is in Russian and I can't follow it. A.I.M. 1 was great and so was A.I.M. 2 If any followers hear any info on it....let me know. Hammer

I haven't seen anything, but I haven't been searching, last time I asked Google to auto-notify me of news about a game, Hardwar, I kept getting emails about Hardiwar, India.

I'm russian. So, there is no new information about the AIM franchise (and no developers' intentions about 3rd game), except the AIM-Racing, but this is side product.

Bumpity bump. I wanted to bump this up just because. A.I.M. is a game that is very interesting to play. Like a Russian version of Hardwar. Many similarities although you are hovering around on the ground and can't fly up in the air. But the game has day, night, rain, fog, etc and interesting ships. I have both A.I.M. 1 and 2. Doesn't look like there's going to be a 3. Like all other games, everyone wants to play some 1st person zombie mutant shooting console game. Speed and Greed on Titan! Hammer

I saw videos of each game and they look great. I love first person flying games set on a planet instead of in space ( well I love those too LOL - Favorites include Freespace 1 & 2 and Tachyon The Fringe)
I notice they have in the videos they have Russian subtitles. Is there English versions of these games?

AIM certainly is interesting. It feels a bit impersonal because well... you deal with robots. The game needs a few psycho bob's & co. But it's a good game.

I'm finding that out xaffax.
I obtained AIM last night from my little brothers girlfriends second cousin twice removed's best friend Ralph who had to give it up cus he wasn't doing his homework. Working on borrowing a copy of A.I.M 2.
So far I like the game - can't find any patches or model and texture mods for it though - that would rock.
In fact there is Nothing out there for this game at all - no forums, no walkthroughs, no cheats, no strategy guides - Nothing - Nada - Zip !
That's sad cus I could use the help and info.
I am interested in games similar to this and Hardwar so I started a thread to help me discover the ones I missed over the years.
I still Dream of Hardwar 2 with updated graphics engine and new story line.

I got them off of a Russian site somewhere and just ran them. I figured they were performance or patches to fix glitches. The game ran fine after I ran the patches so they must have worked? I'm sure we have some Russian speaking friends on this board that may be able to help with this game. Besides Skyriver Studios the game was was also part of 1C. You may search their site. I know there's some stuff out there. Hammer

Both games are available at Gamersgate. The english translations are surprisingly good. I've played and enjoyed both games but never got very far before I lost interest.

Bumpitybump! For any of our Russian friends out there....you did good making the A.I.M. game. It has a very similar feel to Hardwar and that's saying something since there is almost nothing else around to choose from and give a try. I have both 1 and 2 and if they ever make a 3, I'll get that also. Speed and Greed on Titan! Hammer
