Since I don't know anything about programming, or resource allocation and management, or memory leaks, or whatever you call this....I just thought I'd post this as subject for discussion: I was playing my Crysis 2 game and it started bogging down really badly. I got to looking...and of all things Hardwar and MSGC were using up 50% of my processor resources. Crysis 2 was using the other 50%. Hardwar was drawing 20%, MSGC 30%. Now that's totally not normal. That game will normally run as a dedicated server in the background using 1% if that. I closed down both MSGC and Hardwar and restarted them. Everything went back to normal. Hardwar/MSGC 1%. Just wondering what it is that causes that sort of thing? Speed and Greet on Titan! Hammer

It is most likely MSGC related, usually when it modifies something at a bad address (happens sooner or later) it can cause this sort of behavior. I got it a lot when I was modifying MSGC and probing memory with it. A more technical analysis is beyond my expertise, I never gave it any real indepth thought as it was usually caused when I did something wrong.

Have you experienced it again while playing Crisis 2? IF so how long can you play before it starts?

Have you experienced it again while playing Crisis 2? IF so how long can you play before it starts? No problems with Crysis 2. It seems to have been MSGC/Hardwar.
