If anyone out there has any of the old player-made patches from Hardwar.info, or other sources, please tell me about them. I want to collect these into a central database on my site that anyone can link to or download from.

i got a bunch of stuff - do i email it to your hotmail? If you have several patches, please zip them up and send them to my hotmail: captain_zedo@hotmail.com The zipping is required so that Hotmail doesn't filter out any executables. If you need any help, just write me. Note that I already have all of the Software Refinery and Ian Martin (UIM) patches. I only need the player-made ones. Make sure to give me your pilot name so I can give you credit on the site. Captain Zedo captain_zedo@hotmail.com zedo.hardwar.org.uk/

@captain Zedo - Is it possible mate that we can get the UIM 02 Patch on the site also? We have UIM 02.01 but not the original. Here is the version history:
2.<< UPGRADE UIM.02.01 >> -------------------------
A small upgrade, mainly to fix a couple of issues from UIM.02
Features and fixes for UIM.02.01 --------------------------------
1) A problem with the new cloud texture's alpha mask is fixed. This should tile OK on most cards. Mipmaps should be enabled to use this feature. 2) A route finding problem from Alpha-Riverside (caused by the Downtown-Res Tunnel) is fixed. 3) An optional new feature is some simple embossing on the crater textures, tunnel floors and hanger floors. 4) The navigation map now has the new tunnel included.
3.<< UPGRADE UIM.02 >> ----------------------
Welcome to Ian Martin's second unofficial Hardwar upgrade.
The main purposes of this upgrade are some fixes to UIM.01 and the addition of 24/32 bit support - a cosmetic update. Might sound a little pedantic but if you have it on there, that would be fantastic!

Of corse anyone can email me a copy and I'll post it. I expect to have a batch of patches up before the weekend.

Yeah, I've still got it, sending it over to your address then, along with a list of all the other patches I've had lying around. By the way, does anyone know what happened to Ian Martin? I vaguely remember him saying that the next patch is going to feature a new moth (the Ghost maybe?), and after that, nothing from him.

They were certainly ahead of their time and I wish them all the best. If there are any SR guys reading this, please feel free to respond with a personal update.

@ Zedo: The UIM05b2 patch seems to be missing from the site. Want me to send that over as well? Also, I looked around a bit, and it seems Ciaran Gultnieks is still around: he's running a blog, and there's even useful Hardwar-related info on it. Not to mention a link to your site :P You can find it at ciarang.com. Looks like he's doing well, too.

Just saw the updates on the site. Awesome Captain Zedo! YOU DA MAN! ;D And, there are many more to come: * Full Site Index * Hardwar original ISOs * Fan Fiction * Fully updated links * New skins, desktop themes for Vista and 7, etc. I'm hoping to have the site completely updated before November. If you have anything to contribute, please email me.
