Hey Guys got something really strange for you here Looking for a fix for this Im on about day 14 and i have just setup my manufacturing in my main hanger I started with Components then ore and everything was fine But now ive setup munitions all the moths in downtown are doing this It doesent seem to matter where they come from ie gamma etc when they get to downtown they just stack outside of bobs and trade central That is Only pirates outside of bobs and only traders (everything els) Trade central I dunno why they are doing this have any of you seen this before im running UIM 6 Same as hammers game i know cos i was in hammers the other day I set my manufacturing up Thusly Buying all materials that a require for manufacturing more than anywhere els on titan and selling the proceeds like Cell 1. 2, 3, 4 And fusion For less than anywhere els Also selling some things like comp comp and Sheetmetal for less than anywhere els Cos i have alot of it. The things that i dont want to sell like gems and scrap metal for example are set to double their usual price on titan so as traders dont buy them from me but i also have them set to buy for less than anywhere els on titan Mabe a little confusing lol but thats the way i have done it Any idea what might be wrong? Ill save my game now and turn off my sales in my hanger see if that fix's it

Hmm.. I had the same problem, but then at day 34. They stacked at psycho Bobs, and the hangar was free (I could enter and leave without waiting) while around 5 moths were stacked. Killing them didn't help. It was close to the end of the plot though. Still no idea why also, It's like they don't get the clearence or something. I can see if I still have the savegame, and didn't overwrite it yet. Then I will post some screens too.

The sort of stacking you see isn't all that rare, but it is annoying. There are various theories on what causes it. I cure this by killing everyone. Leave the pirates for last so you can get police amnesty. The next batch of pilots might be more cooperative.

this happens once in awhile. it's usually 1 of 3 things: 1: (most common) is that the first moth for some reason isn't quite in range (or is slightly misaligned) for the doors to open but too close for the AI to allow it to move forward, the result is it just sits there. all you have to do is bump into him from the side, this causes the collision avoidance routine to kick in and the moth forgets what it was doing and will select a new task. (which is likely to go at the end of the line.) The ai will always turn away from you and fly forward a bit. You can use this tendency to steer the stuck moth away from the pack. the next in line will then try to dock. Keep in mind the ai is trying to move to a point in space, once there the door opens. The door rules are different for them than us as the doors won't open till they move to that spot in 3D space. If they can't get there for some reason, like they were bumped to the side by falling cargo for instance, (the ai doesn't actually detect collision with cargo or chaffs) the ai won't correct it's new course and will get stuck trying to land. 2: (somewhat rare) the hangar is full and no one can dock there. this happens when traders dock waiting for a good deal to show up nearby. Well if one hangar takes in enough trader refuges then it gets full. You can either create a profitable deal to lure them out, or just use the console to give them an order so they leave. (I usually tell them to attack a pirate waiting in line... muhahaha... ) 3: (very rare) the hangar doors them self's are stuck in between opened and closed in memory, (never visually) and thus will cease to function. You can go to the god hangar and teleport to the offending hangar and launch. This will usually reset things if the door is stuck on closed. if not all you have to do is reload the game to fix it. I've only seen this during long gaming sessions, and is quite rare. actually, reloading in general when you see something like this may fix things. But in all cases your game is saveable.

Great advice OUCH! I just tried the bumping thing and it worked. It still took over five real-time minutes for the line to get moving again. I'm thinking I should have smacked into everyone in line.

I reorganized the list from most common to rarest... But you usually only have to bump the first or second moth. I've never seen a moth not move into position properly, it's always cargo that was dropped on them and they got bumped out of alignment from it. With the more popular hangars (like psycho bobs places) it's pretty common for firefights to go on above the line. SR really should of just turned collision with cargo off for moths. It would of solved this problem and the one where ejecting cargo freezes your controls. But yeah, they are not sitting in line just to aggravate you, there is a reason the line is forming...

MSGC has a routine to clear queue's by removing the first or all pilot addresses from the hangars docking slots.
When a pilot is actually docking, so flying forward to enter the airlock, but then is killed, this leaves the hangars docking sequence unfullfilled and the no longer existing pilots address not being cleared from the hangar docking slots.
You can recreate this kind of queue by killing an AI before it enters the airlock, but after it started flying forward. Delay it if necessary by bumping into it.
Not sure if you can clear this kind of queue without editing memory or savegame.

What is the current amount of Sprats available in your game world? If there is not any available make them or buy them from the god hangar and sell them to the bob with the que, and launch watch the reaction is, if no reaction get the first flyer to move.
