Try following the directions on the site in this link, portforward.com/The needed ports are, TCP: 47624 TCP: 2300 and 2350 (or through) UDP: 2300 and 2350 (or through) UDP: 6073 So 4 ports total. P.S. My name doesn't have a S.

Some routers allow it, others you have to select the TCP and UDP option.

And double post! The shame, seriously, such bad manners I have.
Okay I learnt something interesting today as I fulled around with my router to get the thing to forward.
Did anyone know that Age of Empires requires the same ports to be forwarded in order to play multi-player? What does this mean for you? All you have to do to play Hardwar online is to have Age of Empires added to your port forwarding list.
IF you have multiple PC's hooked up make sure that your computer is the one that has forwarding rights.
Example: You PC, 192.168.1.** You (?), 192.168.1.** Laptop, 192.168.1.** iPhone, 192.168.1.**
Make sure that it is forwarded for the computer you are using and not the wrong computer. You can find you computer ip4 address by clicking on the two monitors and world icon, usually bottom right, and then selecting Network and Sharing then under Network, click View status Details then check IPv4 Address: 192.168.***.*** (More variety may be likely depending on internet provider.)

Just to contribute to your bad manners and necroposting style, eh... What Age of Empires are you referring to, I, II or III?
