I like Google Chrome. It and Safari support HTML5 better than any other browser out there. (The worst is a shamefaced IE 9.) I've noticed on the site's logs that a lot of you out there are using Chrome. What is the appeal? I'll admit it's not nearly as spammy as I figured a Google product would be (i.e. Google Maps).
The Webkit rendering engine seems to be the big wave of the HTML5+ future. I don't like Android, but Chrome seems to be a hit.

I mainly use Firefox and that's because of the extensions. I also use chrome but not as much. I really love the ad-block extension in Firefox. It works wonders on sites like YouTube, Facebook, etc..
I was using opera for a while, but it doesn't quite work right on a few sites so I had to switch back to Firefox.

I use chrome. I mainly use it for it's insane speed.
It's also got a nice clean interface that doesn't bog it down to boot.

Tends to be faster. Isn't bloatFox. Isn't elitist like Opera. Isn't IE.
Slim, smooth, intuitive, unintrusive.
Why you spyin' on meeeee

I always hear alot of people talk about how much faster chrome is than Firefox. While it does start up a second or 2 faster, I haven't notice a speed difference otherwise.
On a side note that usually makes me giggle. The people who love chrome usually bring up the clean interface. The people who like Firefox slam Firefox for copying Google. I person ally don't care, but that always makes me giggle a bit.

I'm not a big fan of Google or their products, but in my business I have to truce with 'em. I do use their products, but Chrome is used only for testing. My #1 is still Firefox for too many reasons than I care to type. Chrome is nearly as invasive as IE, Google is just better at hiding that.

I use Opera now. I still use FireFox quite a bit, too. Google admits that Chrome is still being developed. It has problems with video and other popular files. Google isn't known for fixing things quickly, but I think Chrome and Android are getting attention.
I only use IE to preview pages. I almost never use it online.

Lets see in order of my personal use I guess, Opera (Unless I have about 20 tabs open and want to surf the web 5 minutes ago.) ChromePlus (If you love Google Chrome for its brute speed with which it allows you to surf the web, then there is yet another clone of it.
ChromePlus The enhanced version of Google Chrome. ChromePlus adds a few features to Google Chrome browser and make it more feature rich. The additional features included in ChromePlus at present include… 1. Double click tab to close page. 2. Mouse Gestures 3. Super drag 4. IE tab 5. Download tools supported in context menu. My favorite addon being TooManyTabs (Also available for Firefox but not as nifty.) Firefox 3.6, I have the Firefox 4 beta installed too... which really makes it interesting to use... (gambles on which one will start now taking bets, Bets start at one clone.) Chrome It is fast but as the link at the bottom states about chromeplus there are more secure browsers out there, Opera, fast and secure. Maxathon2 It has a a few things which make it interesting, but at the end it's still at the end. About Safari I haven't tried it it has never appealed to me enough to try it, I'm not crazy about Apple products they seem rigid and inflexible, kind of like consoles, they are more restrictive microsoft, and as intrusive as google, (I always change my location.) Remember the buzz about apple tracking customers? Well they ain't the only ones, any phone with geo-location does that, and facebook helps mask it, for people that don't have much orientation toward their privacy. thepcsecurity.com/chrome-plus-review-why-to-avoid-google-chromeplus-browser/

I remember the buzz about Apple spying on people. They do as does everyone else. I find Apple's malfeasance minor compared to others.
Safari is built around the Webkit rendering engine like Chrome. I've had Safari on my machine, but it comes with Apple updates, etc. that are a total nuisance. Chrome is the same rendering engine with less hassle.
I have an old blue iMac that I still tinker with. I like it and the new Macs. From my end, it's just sooooooo expensive to buy and use a Mac. That far outweighs any advantages. The prices for Macs around here is going on *10 times* that of a lower end PC - $3000 vs $300. And, the PC will have more computing power.
I do, however, have a lust monkey for iPads and am planning on getting one soon.

I mainly use Opera. It's fast and userfriendly. When a page doesn't work right with opera then I switch to Chrome. If that doesn't work firefox and as last resort IE.
