Guess that after all these years, there's still new things to try out in Hardwar. I'm almost certain this has been done, but since it isn't actually listed on Zedo's website I figured I'd share it anyway. We all know how it can be quite a pain to find a pilot that's on the wrong side of a faction in order to get amnesty so I figured...why not just create one myself? I personally prefer to be at odds with Lazarus, but this'll work just as well with Klamp-G, although it might be a bit more risky. Basically the idea is to take a few potshots at a faction transport you're trying to get amnesty with and then lure it to pirate turf, all the while dodging the Firebursts it tosses at you. (yes, faction transports are rather...well armed). Obviously in order to attract the attention of pirates it needs to be carrying something of value. If possible I'd recommend doing this in Downtown. There's quite a few Lazarus transports going towards Alpha carrying various goodies, and with all the buildings around the Conurbation / Psycho Bob 1 area there's plenty of cover to hide behind when the next batch of fiery death is headed your way. Keep the transport occupied until a pirate shows up to join in on the fun, and then take out the pirate. Or, alternatively...take out the transport together, and then nail the pirate from behind while he's collecting his ill-gotten spoils, this is Hardwar after all.

Nice idea, I hadn't thought of that at all. ^^;

I do something similar, except after I shoot the transport I duck behind the closest non-faction moth. The factions gunfire hits them, and they go after the transport because it's shooting them.

Very clever. I've never thought of it and haven't heard of it before.
I tried a similar thing with a Laz attack. I attacked the Laz in Downtown and then flew into Gamma to see if the Klamp-G patrols would attack him. They didn't. The transport idea is much better.
When I'm looking for amnesty, I always just clear out the pirates in Midway (for Klamp amnesty) and Haven (for Laz amnesty). The odds are good that they have already attacked a faction ship.

Yep, what Zedo said. As a matter of fact, I think I did that the first time competely by accident. I was killing some pirates, and bing! Got amnesty. It was a pleasent suprise. Hammer

I usually went to either faction that was happy with me looked at their enemy list and found a suitable donor, if no suitable donor I killed one of their flyers and checked the other's wanted list then killed one of flyers and then their enemy.
