That was a hard decision to make. I usually hang out in the downtown-gamma-riverside-resevoir quadrant. The action for some reason moves around between those four craters. I choose riverside because it has a few "features" that edges out downtown. - It seems to have no scavengers. I have flown through riverside on occasion to find 40+scrap metal, 50+ narcotics, and various other items, just laying around.
- It has general industry and WaterFront booze, 2 vital manufacturers for A flyer who likes to run trade routes. As well as a flyer who likes to pirate.
- It contains the Derelict Warehouse, a very profitable building for repairs.
- It contains The software refinery. 'Nuff said.

I love Downtown. It's big and everything seems to pass through there. I could almost play an entire game just cruising Downtown.
My next favorite Crater is Riverside. Lots of contraband being made and traded down there. I always get a hangar in both Downtown and Riverside and they always produce good profits.
The Crater I do the *least* flying in is Highrise. Not much going there and I only find myself in there when I'm killing off the Laz faction.

In the original game I played more in Highrise and Downtown, and I avoided Gamma, Riverside, Reservoir, and Mines.
Reason one, I knew little about amnesty, and two, I didn't want to get on Lazarus' bad side in order to get info (IF ANY at all) on a pirate that crossed them which usually didn't happen.
Highrise was much more important before the patches.

Very good observations on Riverside. I always get the Derelict Warehouse as a hangar, too!! I've come around and it's made $10K in a day! I've also noticed that once the original scavenger is killed, for whatever reason, he never seems to re-spawn. I'd like to add that Riverside is a nice place to get Police amnesty because the pirates from several craters arm themselves at the Klamp-G Armory. I've only recently noticed how much business goes on in the Reservoir Crater. It was a bit out of the way before the tunnel to Downtown was opened by a patch. Now I got there frequently and make the same loop you've discovered.

Me, Highrise was a awesome place to hang around before the updates, and I played this game ALOT before I found the updates, the Downtown-Reservoir tunnel killed Highrise.

That's a good point about Highrise suffering due to the opening of the Downtown-Reservoir tunnel. I used to find quite a bit of contraband going through Highrise both ways.
