Hello,
Here is a trick to recharging your moth's battery very quickly.
This is something that experienced pilots already know ...
You must possess a Hangar. I recommend the Vacant 0011 for a begining (which for me is the best choice in Downtown crater).
1. Put a battery in your stock (eventually increase its price to keep it if you allow sales). It must be a different one than the one already fitted. Otherwise, the drone ll not replace it... 2. Each time you return to the hangar, install the stock battery in your moth, then reinstall the better battery you've just removed and "Voila" it is fully charged ...
If you have a fusion cell fitted this is obviously not necessary...
When you're under a lightwell, incline your moth a little, I found that it's a good way to recharge faster..
Regards.

I've done that before and forgot where I heard about it. I use regular cells until I can get a legit Fusion Cell after the gang ships start running. That's about six days of regular cells. I range quite a bit and use Light Wells, but when I'm near my hangar I use cell swapping.
It's impressive you found this for yourself. I'm pretty sure I was told by someone.
Another quick tip: You can recharge your Afterburner quickly by ducking into any hangar - just like your shields.

Thats the way I used before I discovered Lightwells recharge the battery. Of course I hadn't discovered owning a personal hangar yet either... Very costly. hahaha

That's it!!! That's how I found out about swapping cells. I almost always buy one to replace my original Silver-Y's Cell #1 and I noticed that the new cell was always charged. That led to guessing about it charging if I installed it from my own hangar.
It's still pretty good thinking and playing for sushi to have figured this out for himself. Good going!
