Newb question about unfitting missles/chaff/flares

I havn't played this game in quite a while and I can't remember if it's possible to unfit missles and countermeasures. I have my own hangar but the remove hardware options only shows my cannons and stuff.

Am I missing something? thanks

Your not missing a thing, Missiles, Flares, Chaff, and Starbursts are fitted till expended.

If you need to scrap weapons for the final mission's landing just expend them, Also Flares, Chaff, Starbursts, and Afterburners are not counted as weapons.

Ok thanks, I'm still figuring out the new features and Terminal so just thought I'd ask since I accidentally fitted some sprats (messes up my weapon cycling). Guess it's time to do some hunting.

You can't unfit missles, and countermeasures, and the Afterburner. Shame, really. The best advice I can give to avoid mistakes is to save your game right before you fit your Moth. Then if there are problems, you can restart the game without having to waste 10 missiles.

I recommend doing the same before buying a Moth or hangar as well. Mistakes are common when there's a lot of clicking to do.

Thanks Cpt. Z; I remembered that about the afterburner but not missiles and cm's. but by now I have at least one of every moth so it's not a big deal ( I eventually like to have 2 of each moth I like, 1 with and 1 without an afterburner). Sometimes I even put different ones in different hangars and use the rails,taxi's or just God Hangar to teleport around and force myself to use different moths for different craters, then a general fast transport/plot mission moth (usually a neo w large pod/drone) in downtown.

You might be interested in trying this:

Hire some AI thugs available in the patched game to drive you around. I sometimes get a Moon Moth piloted by a thug in each hangar I own. Then I can have my own private taxi service.

Thanks for the link. I've only used the terminal to rename hangars and change logos. I'm having fun with manufacturing at the moment but I'll have to try the hiring thing soon.
