So I usually get to the site page by typing "captain zedo" into a search engine. I haven't used google in a while, but today I happened to be visiting the site from a public computer at work that I hadn't yet switched to bing. When I tried to get to the page, i was treated to this lovely malware warning: www.google.com/interstitial?url=http://zedo.hardwar.org.uk/which also didn't include an easy link to proceed to the page. You have to copy and paste or manually retype the URL. Nice work, google, this is another reason why I stopped using you.

I'm mostly annoyed about the inability to turn off search suggestions. When you're logged in(as anyone using gmail must be) you have the choice of Google Instant or search suggestions, you can't just have neither. Then of course there's chrome with the whole "you must have tabs!" BS.
It's googles attitude: the features you want are the features we tell you you want.
So screw it, I'm using Bing. Results are just as good, but with less BS to deal with.

Yeah the Google thing has been going on since last Fall. I still get a few emails about it. I've long since turned off the site blocking bit in my browsers, but they're turned on by defualt and a lot of folks trust them. If you want to learn more about what Google's really about, besides sending hundreds of Chinese browsers to prison for millions of dollars, check out: scroogle.org
