Ok, here is one I have not seen before. I was flying out of Reservoir to Downtown during the "Alien Sighting" mission. When I saw the flashing light of the alien, I stopped and turned around, (Not really ready to start the storyline yet). The alien rendered my controls inoperable, IN THE TUNNEL. I never saw it explode, or the other moths in it's grasp, just straight dead. Incidently, this does not screw up the storyline. You do not have to see the explosion to continue with the game. Just thought I would share

That's neat that you don't actually have to see the sighting, just trigger it by getting near Lightwell #3.
I've had some annoying encounters. The worst is that an Alien Moth often gets stuck off-the-map in the Downtown-Port tunnel freezing all of the alien trade that provides Matter, Trigger, and Fusion Parts. I haven't found a good way to fix this and have to restart my game.

@ Z get within radar range then bring up your navigation, then select radar then look at the name, once you have the name type that in the TI
exec Extra-Titanium,go,mass driver 1
This should get rid of your problem as long as your name is Admin or you have the Hardwar patch on that makes every name you use same as Admin. Also the name may not be Extra-Titanium that is or is very similar to one of the aliens names.

Thanks, I'll give that a shot the next time this comes up! My last attempted solution was a bit convuluted. I would create a "ghost moth" by plot jumping to the alien rescue and then jumping to the God Hangar before the alien released me. This lets me clip through the map's crater walls and get within laser range of the ship.
So far, it's not worked. I have killed two aliens in regular play when they get stuck against a building or another Moth. I can get just close enough to laser them without having to target them. I think something goes wrong with the weapons when you use the above technique to make a ghost moth.
