Hello, I've bought at least 3 or four ORE Processors but i don't understand how to manufacture ORE. I'm bored to travel to the prison mine so often to get this precious ORE... Maybe minerals are helpful to produce ORE but where to find them PS : This game is really fun... Producing alchool and narcotics makes incredibely fast monney... I've bought so much Neo tigers to Downtown moth that there are not any available there lol... Cloning device is a must have to last in that wild world. Regards

The ore processor processes the ore, so it eats ore and produces something else, sheet metal and exmetal i believe.
The runs to mines are annoying indeed, and most of the regular traders dont make it past the pirates in haven and midway, with the ore they bring falling into the water.
Other option to feed your ore processor scrap metal, it will return you 8 sheet metal, pretty good, but no exmetal.
And you can always try to look for ore in the trade centres, they may have a pile lying around, bit more expensive then mines, but it saves loads of time.

I've already bought all the ore availables in all the trades centers around...
I understand that i can use scrape metal to produce the ammount of sheet i need, then, i feed the machine with ore to produce exmetal. It must be possible to save ore... I'll stock the ore in a moth until i've enough sheet.
Thank you.

The Ore machine will produce both Sheet Metal and ExMetal. How do you have the machine set up? Check these things: 1) The machine has to be installed into your hangar, not just unloaded from your pod. If you can see the machine when you browse your stock, it is *not* installed. Load it into a pod and then choose "Install" from the Hangar's Menu. 2) You have to select what you want to make and how much of it to make. 3) You have to have raw materials in stock. I have more details on this on my site at: zedo.hardwar.org.uk/manufacture.htmThere are also some other manufacturing articles indexed toward the bottom of: zedo.hardwar.org.uk/dexlife.htm

What I do is I take 5 five neotigers with thug pilots and the largest pod down to the mines. As they are loading up with ore as fast as it's produced, I do a pirate sweep all the way back to my hanger. Then I go back and have my entire fleet move together and if there is any trouble I sick all 5 of my thugs plus me on the poor sap... lol
It's hilarious to watch pirates get overkilled by 3 or more devastators.
I do the same with explosives and plastics used to make those devastator missiles.
Also instead of buying up neotigers, keep giving the moth manufacturer supplies so it builds deathheads. Having just one of those filled with missiles and lasers can be the difference between life and death in a bind.

Hello, Captain, thanks for the explanation, It is the way i use the ore processor. In order to save ore, i'll produce sheet with scrapmetal. For exemple 1000 sheet metal and then, produce only exmetal with the precious ores from the mine's prison... Thanks for the links i'll read all this... Ouch, how to have thug pilots I don't see the option to build a clan in my game I've bought a deathhead but it is a slow moth and i prefer using Neo tigers with medium pod afterburner and holograms for trading and a second one with only laser turret and missiles to chase pirates when they are too much around. @+

I use a similar approach, but I really just load them with Devs, FireBursts, Holos, Laser Turret, and Groundbases. I'd give them a Plasma but they really do prefer it to everything.

Ouch, how to have thug pilots I don't see the option to build a clan in my game And you won't! There is the option to recruit thugs using the console; you can read about it somewhere on zedo's site, but be warned, thugs aren't for everybody! But I'll let you experiment it for yourself. Five thugs full of weapons? And transporting cargo at same time? No way man! I would use them just for the lulz!

First off, here's an introduction to the Terminal Interface that was introduced in the first patches: zedo.hardwar.org.uk/term1.htmHere's how to find and hire thugs: zedo.hardwar.org.uk/term2.htmHere's an index of all TI commands to date: zedo.hardwar.org.uk/termindex.htmYou'll note to the right of any of the above pages are links to all of the TI pages. These are also linked under Site Services in the main menu. Oh, don't forget that the site's main page now has a site search engine that can help you find things on the site. There are a few orphaned pages, etc. that I have yet to find and clean up.

Whoa, hold on, ore processors can process scrap metal into sheet metal? And at a rate of 1 to 8? My future games are going to be soooo much more relaxed

I just re-read this thread and I missed something somewhere. You don't actually make Ore. Ore comes from the Mines. It can't be made in your hangar. It's mined by the factions and the Prison Mine.

Your TI data base is missing a few commands (from enhanced) and some of the more advanced uses.
