Just think of it as concept,  Wireframe  This shows the hangar entries max size, an actually door of most sizes should fit and open in that space. Dimensions ~ 120m (393') wide x 56m (184') high x 160m (526') deep.  This is an above view of the hangar, no skin on it just a default metal look from Blender 2.8

So Hangar wise how big would be too big? blender_imI4YNyD1x.jpg (579.49 KB) <- same image just 20% larger, due to using the forum to host it. Ed: The name is not a DC reference not originally, but that does fit Hardwar's naming sense, it's actually because I noticed after adding the luxury dome, that the hangar happens to look like a ?bat-mitten? ?bad-mitten? from above, yeah not a game I was into.

I'd almost say no such thing, especially if it's a major trade center. The difference between something with an internal hanger/life support meant for production/manufacturing and something with open bay hangers/droid loaders meant for trade/rapid ship turnaround could make the lore better.
