Thanks guys... Don't worry, I've watched the emergence of the PC master race... these models aren't very low poly... the Police Moth I just uploaded has 272,187 verts... (mostly due to the seats). I'm really glad you like them as I'm trying to just update the original designs without changing them too much. Though I have added a second seat in the police moth because there was a lot of room and I couldn't fit the front landing gear without moving it. So it made sense to add a second seat. Anyway, back to working on the next one.

Makes sense, you want someone as backup when you pull a moth over

Ok, so two new moth pics added... The swallow (actually named after the swallow tailed moth) and my first multiplayer turret moth, the Hawk 5s, named after the 5 spotted hawk moth. Enjoy!

I like that, we could have the original 1 seat versions that are faster and turn better while we have 2 seater versions with more health and an extra weapon slot for a turret.
A bonus would be if the turret could fit any weapons, not just a laser.
Imagine if the big boy Death Head had *3 seats* with one at the bottom, OP? Lol

Many years ago, when The Software Refinery were still running and had a forum on their website, they put up a pic of a new moth that was apparently based on a helicopter model they were working on for another game. This moth was never released but instead SR released the swallow. Well I thought I'd dust it off and add it to the collection. So here is the Ghost moth... At 8.9m long and 6.9m wide, it's a little bigger than the Silver Y but would have been a nice addition to any hangar. Lol I wouldn't say extra health for the 2 seaters... you'd already have double the firepower so I think it would be powerful enough. I could just be mean and let turrets only have pulse lasers! lol I could fit the deaths head with a rear facing turret... But a turret at the bottom? I suppose if you want to make someone sick flying upside down... LOL

Ah The fabled ghost moth! Legend has it that Ian Martin planned to release this moth in an update that never happened. He said it was going to have a unique weapon that was hardwired as part of its makeup but never revealed what the weapon was.

Well if he was around... Maybe lurking... He could tell us... But no-one has seen him for years. Wonder what he would make of my designs?

Could mock up some Cargo Pods and see what they look like mounted on them.
Another moth idea, a Cargo Moth that's big and bulky, has bonus cargo in the moth itself.

Added a new silver Y image with reworked textures and a small pod. Could mock up some Cargo Pods and see what they look like mounted on them. Another moth idea, a Cargo Moth that's big and bulky, has bonus cargo in the moth itself. Not sure about a cargo moth... Kinda of what pods are for really.

This is mentioned in the other thread, I placed it here if you wanted to refer to it, however they are in .wld file format. Every company was so individualist back then. Whao..... exactly what I was looking for. Do you happen to know how to extract or convert WLD to something more conventional?
