Hello, Unfortunately i was not succesfull with my W10 install !
The installation completes ok, I've got the launcher, I'm able to upgrade to UIM06, but when I try to launch a new game nothing occures ! Patched or not !
I've tried to apply all the compatibility modes availables on Hardman.exe and HardwarW.exe... Nothing occures even when following the W10 compatibility wizard until the end.
I'm a bit frustrated ! I've looked around on the forum but there is not so much threads reporting bugs with W10.
If someone have any idea...
Regards

Use your Task Manager to ensure that there are no other instances of Hardman hidden (windowless). Use the Task Manager to "End Task" if you find some.

Ok so I've opened the task manager... No other instance anywhere.
When i launch Hardman.exe, I can see it on the task manager. No pb until there !
As soon as I launch a new game, Hardman.exe disappears but nothing else appears I can't see HardwarW.exe launching or running on background. Nothing occures even if I turn compatibility mode on (w98) for HardwarW.exe and even if I run it as admin !
My CD iso is mounted on a BDrom an i've even tried to add the "HARDSTAR.GDV" in the directory to avoid CD control on launch (it used to work great on W7).
I experienced a quite similar issue with Speedfan that couldn't be launched on startup... An UAC issue maybe ?
EDIT : Avast antivirus stopped does not solve the pb !

I'm successfully running on Windows 10. Are you logged in as an Admin? Every time I go to run Hardwar, a prompt comes up about it. Did you update DirectX (or DirectPlay - or whatever it is now)? I did just to be safe. Have you tried running the game in a window? I did this at first then went to full screen later. Have you played with the rest of the display settings? There are a couple of options that W10 really doesn't like. I can't remember exactly which ones, but here are my settings: Everything selected EXCEPT Original Explosions, Embossed Texture Detail, Use Software mouse pointer, Windowed. For 3D rendering, Primary Display. I am running 1280x720.
With Windows 10, you can just double-click on the ISO to have it mount to a built-in virtual drive. Worth doing from a simplicity viewpoint.
Hope some of this helps.

I'm pretty sure I was able to play the videos from the CD. But it's so far from now... Anyway I'm no longer capable to do so... Maybe a codec is missing, freezing the launching step ? I've disabled all the videos in the misc tab and installed the latest KliteMegacodec pack but unfortunately, still nothing... Thanks a lot.

I went back and looked at my compatibility. Hardman.exe is running in Windows 98 mode. HardwarW.exe is running without any compatibility setting. At this point, I'm not sure why mine is working and yours is not.

Hardman.exe is running in Windows 98 mode. HardwarW.exe is running without any compatibility setting I did that too ! I'll try to reboot in safe mode when Malwarebytes's scan is done.

Yohoooo ! It works !
The Direct Play functionnality was missing !
I've reinstalled W10 on a SSD a few days ago, and decided to install Hardwar once againe just in case...
So I launched the game and a prompt said Direct Play was needed. I just allowed the installation and now I'm able to launch the game. Everything works ! I must precise that I had installed Dx9 package the day before to run an other old game (Dx12 is not fullfilled with ancient Dx functionnalities) maybe it helped ?
