I put the server back up, fresh game Please let me know if you play on it so I know there is still interest. Server seems to be down at the moment..just wondering if it was going back up or not? AI....out... |

A big Thanx T, I've had some free time lately so I opened me store..it's been a blast!. Last time I checked I owed Ole Charlie Wadsworth 142 million Lol! Not to mention what I owe MisOp Finance... The Server is most likely going to get rather...deadly as I've just opened up me little store in Downtown Titan. AI's Hanger in the center of Downtown. I'll update how the game ai reacts to it..usually (as I've done this before in other online games) they usually go to me store like flies to shiitt! I usually make I lot of cash especially since I have a hundred each of missiles available, lots of everything basically. I may hold off on selling dev's right away as I can't remember if the ai buy and use them. I think they might. I believe they do...if anyone knows let me know. Have to always be ready with the flares and chaff with devs around... ** UPDATE ** Busy as hell the pirates go nuts for me poor customers...three on one sometimes.....poor little shoppers...I do my best to help out but as always in MisOp...buyer beware...Lol! Stop in and fly more action than usuasual... Well that's it 4 now... AI....out.. |

Best I remember AI's. . . other than you. . . don't use Devs in the vanilla game, however with the right patches you might have exploded two seconds after that warning. That reminds me of one time I left my hangar after you camped outside it to get me (years ago) I used a thug as a well armed decoy (Firebursts, Groundbases, Underkills the whole nine yards), while you were paying attention to it I launched from my hangar I targeted you and slipped in a Dev, making you think that the thug did it. ^_^ Maybe that is why you didn't remember that the A.I. treat Devs as trade goods?

Ooooh, I'll have to check it out tonight if I get time! Spent 3 hours last night getting my own libpng texture loader to work.

Got connected no problem, just allowed Windows firewall access.
Framerate in-game is awful though.
The missus was also playing an online game on the PS4 so I don't know if that was making it laggy.
Firefights are extremely difficult at that fps though.

Had some difficulty fighting pirates as well, due to framerate being low.
My network wasn't being used by others/other processes, so don't think that was an issue.
I did see you at some point Lee, but was logged in under another name as I had been shot down before.

Yeah, I got shot down taking on some pirates. I was waiting outside his hangar, started shooting but the framerate was that low that he disappeared from my screen. I thought he'd gone back inside the hangar but by this point he was actually behind me and slamming me into the crater floor with a groundbase. I'll give it another shot tonight  |

see if its any smoother, I applied that HEX edit that increases online frame mate (server side edit)

Teeth,would you happen to know if purchasing software works at a player to player level in online games or is it as defunct as the Ai not selling to you?

Players can sell to other players as long as they are setup for it. However, getting the AI to sell to you almost rarely happens since the AI Traders in General don't do much.
