Any way as I am sure a few of you may know, microsoft has released some of their older programing tools for "free use" (if > 250 pc's && > than a million revenue annually) so here is a link to VS 2013.
It's all about Visual Studio Code now. Every developer I know has been jumping on it for the past 18 months. I don't know anyone who uses the old Visual Studio implementations.
Code has recently replaced my primary IDE (JetBrains' RubyMine) on my work's development machine. RM can't compete. Licence-based and quite heavy. Exactly the opposite of Code. I never thought I'd be using a Microsoft IDE to develop software.
Whether, it can be used to benefit Hardwar, who knows - we need the C++ source code first. However, that's another story.
