I like the asp explorer,it's durable, tough, fast, maneuverable and has ample storage space for trading and it kinda reminds me of the death's head in our game

You can already afford it? I'm currently enjoying the Cobra MKIII it is versitile and well defended, it would be the Neo-Tiger MKII of Elite: Dangerous in my oppinion.

I always thought the neo tiger was based on the old cobra... If some day I get this game I will try again the Panther clipper, it looks really good now! Just as an homage at my enjoyment with ffe... that beauty filled with 2000 units shields was capable of raping any space station's dock bay or do an inverted emergency landing with minimal structural damage. Of course dogfighting wasn't a viable option, so ramming against pirates was the most effective solution most of the time!

Not at all,I make my credits by trading in the established trade routes that are zero risk, some people call them "milk runs" but just like hardwar the market can get flooded with goods in the dynamic economy.I don't know if I prefer an open economy to the closed one we have here (beyond our budget)

Also I may be mistaken, but it seem,s when you bolster the economy of an area their Outfitter and Shipyard can add things? At least it seems to be the cause, I think, though to be honest I am the primary traffic in the systems I trade in and even the pirate ai's are around novice level, in fact my current ship is unarmed. . . Yeah. . .

In federation territory around sol like Bernards star, alpha centauri, you should try and earn a permit for the sol system

I'm around 120 ly away from there, there is also a nearby system that needs a permit, however the system that I can get the permit in I've only visited once. That said I've managed to get on friendly terms with an anarchy group and am listed as a Federation cadet atm. lol :\
Zedo, Teeth would it be okay to create an Elite sub forum, it seems these topics may continue for a bit.

What is wrong with you sweetheart? I answered your messages, didn't I? O.o Oh!.... it seems my last reply never went through... my bad! I do not have steam, I do not use it, my games come with cracked versions of steam.api and steam.dll so those that need steam profiles generally have the cracker's profile in place. I know... I'm politically incorrect, deal with it!

Unless anyone has any objections, I'll merge the Hammer and Online boards and make a new one called Elite: Dangerous. I'll try to it later

Ok, starting of the money is in exploration and the casual pirate bounty (yeah Pilot said that too, but thought 400 credits was the average price for maps ), just sold my cargo bay and got a fuel scoop (to not end stranded in some lonely system) so hyperdrive jump, refuel at the sun trying to not get scorched in the process, jump again and repeat...

Remember to target the the sun and do a scan, also you may need to set your Basic Discovery Scanner to a weapon key bind! I think by default it isn't I created a second weapon cycle via the the right control panel in game/ship menu 3rd or 4th tab. Make sure to run that when you jump into a system! Then scan (or not) each planet and sun in the system, you don't need to scan asteroid fields as they do not affect the money you will receive for the scans, even if you do not scan each planet it will still increase your money earned to have a detected them with the Basic Discovery Scanner! For example: After a bit of exploration, a few hours of reading and scanning and little danger. If your lucky and skilled enough to secure a high bounty. . . you can also make big profits, the nerve trying to interdict my ship! Though I would have lost just as much money if I had been the one to lose! Still if you manage to get the right systems, any system with 4 or more planets has the potential, you can really bring in the credits. And if you really go out there you may even find, It is a dual binary system with only the two stars, but I discovered them first, somehow. . . Sadly it wasn't worth much without any planets around.
