Contains all the Order, orders... heh, hope that makes sense. and yes even ones smurph added.
How to use:
start hardwar and this program. (the order does not matter... well ok it SHOULDN'T matter... )
when you want to give an order just alt-tab out of hardwar to this program. enter in the names of your hired thugs on the edit box in the far upper left. ( it's next to the add and remove buttons) from there you can select "add to list". the name should appear on the list. if you screwed up select the name and push "remove from list". also you cannot remove all the items from a list. so for instance if you wanted to get the status of one of your thugs you can simply target him and alt-tab to the program and push the status button.
now let's say you want to order one of your thugs to go to downtown 05 and dock. so select the thug you just entered above. go over to the right of the button that says "dock at building". type in downtown 05. then all you have to do is push the "dock at building" button. Hardwar should come up, and the TI interface will comeup, and you will see the command being typed for you in the TI box. then the command will be entered and the TI interface will go away leaveing you to play again as normal.
some known things:
the boxes to the left of the order buttons let you set shortcuts to a button. These now work as intended. simply select the one you want and push the desired key sequence. now whenever you want to issue that order in the game just push that sequence... no alt-tabing required. unless you want to change the effected pilot of course.
if you get partial text, or no text at all, it's because of differences in computer speeds. slower computers may have problems with this app. simply because it will throw out keystrokes faster than hardwar can react to. You can now set the time delays for all critical functions, with the new boxes provided.
3 this sets the detection delay for hardwar. basicly this is the time the program will wait till it gives up and says that hardwar never activated if this time expires (in seconds). the outputed keys wait till hardwar is the active window.
500 this is the delay for the TI interface to show up. the program waits till this delay expires. 1000 is aproximately 1 second.
1000 this is the delay to wait for after hardwar is the active window. this basicly allows for the actual game graphics to be displayed. if you don't wait the program's keystrokes will go unanswered as hardawr is likely to busy getting the game graphics displayed. from there hardwar should be ready for commands.
50 the upper one is the delay IN BETWEEN keystrokes.
50 the lower one is how long a particular key is held down.
50 this new setting is for setting the delay inbetween mouse clicks. this for the new mouse emulation features.
setting all of these to the lowest numbers that still work is best. since during all this window refreshing and the time while in the TI interface, you won't be able to move or push any keys on the keyboard. basicly your helpless. so finding the lowest values for your particular computer could be well worth your time.
I recomend playing in windowed mode. if not for the alt-tab wierdness that some people have problems with, but for the speed in which you can give orders.
Mouse click automation has been implimented. Basicly once you assign the hotkeys to these functions you now have the ability to generate a certain number of clicks each time you push the key sequence. There is also an option to keep clicking for ever till you push the key sequence again.
Tooltips have been added to all controls. if a tooltip doesn't show up hold the mouse over the box that surounds the group of controls. there is also an option to turn them on or off (default is off).
another new ability is the new list on the right. this basicly acts as a scratch pad so you don't have to keep typeing some stuff. basicly it works like the pilot list. you type in what you want to add to the list and then click the add button. once you assign a hotkey which is located below the list, anytime you push that key sequence the program will type whatever is highlighted, where ever you happen to be. for instance you can add admin TI commands and push the hotkey in game to type the order for you. or you can use it to store popular hangars so you dan't have to keep typeing them in the program all the time. basicly whatever you find it usefull for.
and finally I have taken the program out of beta. you can now save your settings. This also means that I put the source code in the zip file this time. Enjoy
future:
multiple selection on pilots: DONE: you can now hold shift and select multiple pilots. the command will be sent to all of them one at a time. yep doesn't matter if you have 2 or 200 thugs, it will do it.
game autosave (might be too anoying though) SCRATCHED: it is VERY anoying
