Is there an option to pull up a list of all the TI commands, so you could rename them? Its a nifty trick for server hosts to hide the commands that people could abuse.

No but you could add it with the custom section of the editor.
So in the main sheet you would have:
blag
and in the offset for the cell would be:
0x1012F0
once you save you can edit blag to whatever you want and then click the patch game button.
Just use hxd or whatever to find the other offsets, they are right next to one another there, and the communication ones a little ways down.

Hello ouch, The Duncan extraction file is incomplete, it contains 1635 lines and I have 2231. In fact there are numerous redundancies in the Hardwar.exe but it would take to much time to sort the significants lines and delet the redundant ones. It's faster to translate twice in the same time... Example : 920128 Your attack 12 11 Agression 986888 Your attack 12 11 Agression So I've got an unexpected issue that didn't occurred in you previous release... The pb is that I can't paste more than 1635 lines so my game is not completely translated. How can I pas the 2232 lines ? And I'd like that my latest translation was implemented in your patcher cause the one that comes in is really incomplete. Maybe I can use the export button to send you the good file ?

I've find the way to add lines "add row" one by one that's a bit long but it works fine and my game looks perfectly translated now... I really enjoy that EDIT : Finally I've used the export button to create a translated file but I've just seen an error so I need to correct it before uploading EDIT 2 : Ok the error wasn't related to the translation but my Hardwar.exe corrupted... I've reinstalled it clean and now everything looks perfect so here is the French db file : www.petit-fichier.fr/2013/07/04/uim06-french/

Got it! Thanks Sushi! I can use your translations for reference, there are terms I keep in english just to not bastardize the word and perhaps there is a synonym or the root of it in another latin language!

Yes I understand what you mean. I'd like to play Hardwar in Spanish, maybe I remember enough to play the game ?

Ouch, I seem to having some difficulties with this patcher. I can edit the cells/engines page just fine, but when I try to do anything in items it goes all screwy. I get an error message and the program crashes with "An unhandled exception occurred, press abort, retry, or ignore" . I am running a Win7 64 bit enterprise machine, no problems with specs on the computer. The program is currently patched to UIM6 E2 5.06.05. Please help. Attachments:

Well, as a matter of fact, most of my finds were on Captain Zedos downloads page.
So yeah, there you go.

Hi ouch, I have the newer version of this tool, however I appear to get the exact same issues that dfrolicher reports. I'm using a modifed game, so UIM06 + Enhanced + Enhanced2 + the appropriate modded HardwarW.exe file and the Merged World file - see here for details of my game build. Cheers, Scoob. (I fixed the broken link, oddly this forum doesn't like " " along the url. And colored the link. ^^ - Pilot out.)

The editor comes with the UIM06 offsets. So the enhanced versions is not supported out of the box. You can find the offsets and plug them into the editor though. So just an FYI there...
Also be sure you have the new one. if it's the one with translations for both hardwarw.exe and hardman.exe then you have the latest one.
If you have ever installed/used the old version of the editor then you will need to delete the "Hardwar Patcher.db" file before running the new one.
edit: ok I see some old wxWidgets 2.8 code that might be causing problems for some people. I'll get this fixed as soon as I can.

Hi Ouch,
Thanks for replying.
Yes, I did (eventually) realise that my Enhanced + Enhanced2 version wasn't recognised, my bad. Seems that several tools I have are the same...basically offsets are different between the various versions.
I admit, I thought UIM06 and the Enhanced updates from Max and Smurph were the standard these days...however, from further reading it appears that UIM06 is the base Standard, and most things are designed to work with that out of the box.
I've been trying to get the definitely build together (for me) before I start tweaking things further. I hit a bit of a snag however as the newest version of Enhanced is buggy, so I'm using the prior more stable version. Shame, as some of the fixes are needed. Enhanced2 seems fine though.
I know it's off-topic here, but I was really trying to find someone who had copies of gmcJimmy's work fixing the latest Enhanced. Sadly all the links are long dead, and I no longer have what I originally downloaded...unlike me, being the hoarder that I am, I must have had an over zelous housekeeping day some time back *sigh*
Cheers,
Scoob.

Morning Ouch,
I've just fired up the new version of your patcher tool and first glance it seems ok. Previously it'd crash as soon as I clicked on any value, but it's fine now.
Quick question: if running Enhanced+Enhanced2 (as my current build does) changes the offsets, would everything still display properly? I mean, in other tools I've used you can plainly see they were designed for a different HardwarW.exe, however your tool effectively reads from it's own database, rather than from the .exe right? So, it will write things to the wrong place (and cause havok) but will look fine when launched? Sorry for all the questions, been trying to get my head around a lot of new old stuff of late lol.
I was hoping to play with the FPS.db you posted on the FPS thread...once I get my head around the tool. Does it do anything different to the hex hack?
Oh, point take re: possible HardwarW.exe corrupting...backup taken!
Cheers,
Scoob.

Hi Ouch,
Likely I'm confusing myself here as I'm using a modifed UIM06 with Enhanced and Enhanced2.
Anyway, I wanted to change some item base price values & your patcher tool shows all the values. However, my understanding was that this information is contained in ItemDat rather than in HardwarW.exe, or is the latter just an override?
I know it's Off Topic if you tool doesn't do what I'm expecting, but do you know anything about editing ItemDat?
Cheers,
Scoob.
