I used to have the original CD but since I moved 3 times, its MIA. So I found Capt. Zedo's links but I'm having a lot of trouble getting the programs to work. The demo went smoothly but the fact its only timed play drives me nuts.
Anyway, the first program kinda loads but the second doesn't. Gives an error saying DSETUP.dll was not installed. I reinstalled twice with no luck.
The first file opens to the main menu but nothing happens when I click launch. Any help?
Thanks guys

You have to install with administrator privileges. If you don't, not everything the game needs will get installed.

How would I change that? I'm running Windows Vista Home Premium.
Thanks for the help, BTW.

Right click on the executable and select 'Run as Administrator'
If it doesn't have that option, right click and go into properties instead. Under the 'compatibility' tab, select 'Run this program as administrator'
Hope that helps!

Got it! This brings back the memories!
Not quiet. I spoke too soon. It loaded to the main screen but my mouse didn't jive with the software. I had to restart everything and now....nothing.
Trying the U6 program

There's a few settings that could've caused it. 'Use software mouse pointer' might be the culprit. Also check the controls are set correctly, I remember 'Use Force Feedback' was an issue for me, even though I was using a mouse!
Otherwise, check out the ISOs if you're still having issues. They have the music and video tracks from the game, so an overall better experience. And a bit easier to install, since it's the full game itself.
Have a good one.

I've re-downloaded and put it on a fresh disc and still doesn't read it.

Life will be much easier if you throw away the physical CDs and install an iso mounter like virtual clonedrive.

Tried that. The first disk works fine but I get an error every when I try the second disc saying, "Cannot open as archive."

might be a corrupted download then. I would try redownloading the second disk.

Wouldn't trying to copy the .gdv files from the second disc to the directory where the game is installed be a possible solution? If the disc is truly damaged then the copy attempt will tell you, and if those files are intact it should work as well, wouldn't it?

might be a corrupted download then. I would try redownloading the second disk. I got the downloads from Capt. Z and there was no music and the 2nd disc didn't work. As for the game, found one on ebay for $5. no more troubles but switching the discs is a pain. How can I create an ISO from the CD because the DTlite program worked very well.
