Hi all,
I thought it would be nice to have a topic based on bugs found within the new forum. Anyone who has any problems or identifies something that "just ain't right" could post it here for Captain Zedo and the moderators to look over. :-)

Okay so ...
BUG: Some incompatibility with the Opera 10 browser. I've noticed that emoticons and all text alteration tags do not work in Opera, when clicking on them. You have to enter the usage manually.
For example, I can't click the smiley icon to quickly enter a smiley within my post. I have to manually type the smiley in for it to work.
SEVERITY: LOW - There is a workaround, hence I can just type in the tags. And, it's Opera. I'm probably the only person using that browser anymore. ;-)

Good idea. And, please feel free to start threads about problems with the site as well. You can always email me with problems, too.
If you'd like to be a moderator and spam watcher email me with your user name here and I'll get you set up.

Nope I use Opera 90% of the time and then Chrome Plus 9% of the time. Then Firefox, Chrome, and Maxthon2 the other 1%

I gave up using it regularly when it quit supporting Java without a huge runaround.

Hey Zedo which version of Opera was that?
Also I'm not 100% sure (might have mistyped my password [doubt that though]) I think that you can't login using some mobile phone. Not a big deal as I do 99.9% of everything Hardwar related on my desktop anyway.

Not a big deal as I do 99.9% of everything Hardwar related on my desktop anyway. The Java problems began with version 9. Opera support sent me a big workaround, which is still available on its site. It didn't work and I migrated to FireFox where I am today.

I think it was fixed in 10. ^^ It's currently version 10.5 in fact when I first tried Opera i didn't like it because of no java support. But as long as your not using IE as you main. ^^ I do love being able to have 28 tabs and being able to save sessions as well.
FF & Chrome(PLUS) ~ I'd have to recommend the TooManyTabs addon for them. It's pretty handy and adds some of the functionality that I just mentioned about Opera too FF and ChromePlus, maybe even Chrome.

Opera 9 was bad. Yes, lack of Java support is a major biggy, which is why it's best to choose an alternate browser when you need it. I remember the good ol' days when you had to have JRE installed BEFORE you could actually use Opera. Now, they took a cut of the library files, hacked it, and made it their own foundation for the latest version of the browser. Not the same. Anyway, I'll not jibber jabber anymore because this thread is to identify bugs.
