Someone brought it to my attention that purchasing software (p) before and after the beta 5 builds wasn't properly implemented,that allowed Ai to sell goods to your hangar.In Uim06 you can install trading software (t) alongside purchasing software (p) to turn your hangar into a trade centre.Even if the Ai still doesn't sell to your hangar,it still gives other players the option to sell to your hangar.

A little known glitch, in multiplayer you can land at another players hangar and sell your laser, plasma kannon, pod, and drone to a player by using the remove function EVEN IF the player doesn't have enough cash to give to the player for the items this removes. In this case the hangar's balance will turn negative and the hangar owner can "Collect Cash" and like certain governments receive a positive increase in funds. If a player wanted to thoroughly abuse this they can set the price for the laser, plasma k, pod, and drone to a $0 at $0 AI wont buy it, but players can fit it. . . then in turn repeat the cycle creating an unlimited start up fund.

It is installed in all player hangars by default. Wez knows how to change hangar software from the outset.He included purchasing software (p) to every hangar by default.Maybe someone can resurrect him and tell him about the targeting bug crashes on his enhanced updates. |
