A MSGC script? Simple, AI used to supply all the Moth Dealers, and some of weapon factories, even then the Police Que was large, In my opinion most of what kept online games running in Hardwar was AI. Well in my time, wasn't ai but magrat mostly... but of course player interaction is required to agilize the process, I think it is easier this way... just a couple loads of stuff you produce to a moth dealer and all the activity rises.... I think that a script could keep the moth economy running. More or less a copy of force Ore trade script that supplies Ore to Riverside, or host's designated building, without the price cut script. However, One of the main problems would still be player pirates.

Sorry, not sure I understand what you are saying.
The ore script existed, didn't it? But if I remember correctly the ore magically spawned inside the designated hangar in dt... so there wasn't any pirating going on...
What do you mean by player pirating and how it could affect teh game? or the ore trade...? are you implying there will be ai traders going to mines? O.o

Sorry, not sure I understand what you are saying. Yeah, I guess I did do a bad job the explaining. ^^; The ore script existed, didn't it? But if I remember correctly the ore magically spawned inside the designated hangar in dt... so there wasn't any pirating going on... Yes, the ore script does exist inside of MSGC. Under the hood, the following are things that the script enacts. 1. The Purchase Ore price universally lowered to $100 as of the $200 or so original price. 2. Whenever the stock gets low at the Ore Refinery, MSGC issues a command to Traders to get ore in mines which is lowered to $100, and to sell it to the Ore Refinery for $100, I don't remember right off the bat but I think that Ore Refinery then sales it for a little more, otherwise no profit could ever be made. What do you mean by player pirating and how it could affect the game? or the ore trade...? are you implying there will be ai traders going to mines? O. As stated above yes AI traders do go to Mines however since Ore is cheap and low profit, pirates completely ignore it. The script could be similar, but nuking the price for all the items required for moth production would be ludicrous... Hmm... /--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------/ / What if the price was jacked up? Would that be possible? If everything was ------------------/ / left at the original selling price but the buying price at (only) Highrise Motors -----------------/ / was doubled, would AI be more inclined to sell to the building? -------------------------------/ /--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------/ / Though it maybe easier to force $500 or $1,000 to always be added to the buying price. -------/

Oh.. I see what you mean now... but you might ask that question to Duncan...
What will impede the player to abuse the system? That is more concerning that the pirating itself and easier too. Also, from where will suck money the factory? Are we going to increase the final selling price of the moths? O.o

That would be my suggestion I knew I forgot something, lol. Though Downtown Motors would also have to increase prices a little to make sure that their profit wouldn't be too largely increased. Bargain Moths might be the only dealer to have any problems, but it does always seem to be well supplied... Also every hangar that uses Ore, Cells, Sheetmetal, Compcomp, would also need to have a base price increase... Well this is practically asking for the economy of Hardwar to become inflated. Though I think that the setting of Hardwar would prevent the necessity of a re-balancing all the hangars since hangars only buy a certain amount at a time then they lower the price they will purchase cargo for, as long as that price is lower than all the competitors the traders should ignore it. duncan, When, if, you read this I would like to get a newer copy of MSGC, compiled, and source. And a few question for you too, 1. Does MSGC work with older versions of Hardwar? 2. If, yes then what would be the oldest version it would work with? 3. Is it possible to undo (reseal) the Reservoir - Downtown tunnel? <-- I'm doubting this one.

Lol...
I think you are expecting to much, like a new enhanced game altogether...
Closing the tunnel? O.o I think it is possible but you'll need a coder
